What is happening?
CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, WAITING/LOADING, NO RIGHT TURN AND SPEED RESTRICTION) – ORDER EVENTS/2024/IWM DUXFORD
NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which is to restrict traffic on the roads listed in schedule 1,2 and to impose a Speed Limit along all roads in schedule 3 of this order.
The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place indicating the restrictions on any or all of roads listed on air show days.
The Proposed Order will come into operation on 5th May 2024 and will continue until 8th October 2022. It is anticipated that the air show days will be held on 5th May, 1st and 2nd June, 26th July, 17th, 31st August, 1st 14th and 15th September and 5th October 2024.
Nothing in this Order shall apply so as to prevent the passage of any vehicle being used by any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or of a Civil Enforcement Officer.
