Buttercrambe Road - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC PART OF
BUTTERCRAMBE ROAD, STAMFORD BRIDGE
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of
which will be to introduce a 30 mph speed restriction
along part of Buttercrambe Road, Stamford Bridge
from a property called Wood End Cottage to its
junction with A166 Stamford Bridge West/Derwent
Bridge commencing 20 May 2024 until 2 August
2024 for the purposes of “forming part of the traffic
management for the Derwent Bridge, Stamford Bridge
road closure”. The road closure is necessary to enable
the works to be carried out in a manner consistent
with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within 75 days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via: N/A.
