(B1389 Newland Street, Witham) (Temporary Suspension of Parking Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council Has Made the above Order under section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Effect of the order: To suspend the existing Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 1 Hour No Return 3 Hours restrictions under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Newland Street, Witham in the District of Braintree. NORTH WEST SIDE: From a point in line with the south western property boundary of No.78 Newland Street, south west to a point in line with the north eastern property boundary of No.100 Newland Street, a distance of approximately 100m. The parking restrictions will be suspended every Tuesday between the hours of 6am to 4pm while the market is in operation. The parking restrictions will be reinstated for all other days of the week or where the market is not in operation. Tile reference TL820 142 of 'The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' shall be temporarily varied to temporarily suspend the existing Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 1 Hour No Return Within 3 Hours on the said length of road while the market is in operation on Tuesdays between the hours of 6am to 4pm. The Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm 1 Hour No Return Within 3 Hours will remain in operation on all other days and times and when the market is not in operation. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
This order is required for the safety of the public whilst the market is in operation and will come into effect on 28 April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months, as and when suitable traffic management measures are in place on site.
(Bennett Way, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bennett Way, Hatfield Peverel in
the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 50m north east of the junction with
Mortimer Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st May 2024 for 4 days, or where stated on
a valid permit (AD01310746020/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for
these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure
is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are
undertaken by Anglian Water.
No alternative route is available for this closure.
The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Green Road for a distance of approximately 150m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WDNJ0D7K - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground structure works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Brent Hall Road, The Green, The Causeway, Duck End, Howe Street, Little London Hill, Cornish Hall End, Finchingfield Road, Chapel Street, Haverhill Road, North Street, Water Lane, Hempstead Road, Bumpstead Road, High Street, Anso Road, Moor End Road, High Street, Finchingfield Road, Hawkins Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bulford Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 325m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231010535 - Bellway Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signage and lining works are undertaken by Bellway Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Witham Road, The Green, Witham Road, The Street, Station Road, Witham Road, Mill Lane and vice versa (with access only into Bulford Mill Lane and Bulford Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queen Street, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 120m north west of its junction with Braintree Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310755136 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via A1017, A1124, A131, A134, A1092 and vice versa (with access only into A1017).
The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.7) 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway on those lengths of road in the schedule for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restrictions will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 2nd May 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hayhouse Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Curds Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03162696612/FH1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while hydrant replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Church Hill, Coggeshall Road, Curds Road and vice versa (with access only into Park Lane and Hayhouse Road).

(Powers Hall End, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (South Street, Braintree) (Temporary Suspension of Weight Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Powers Hall End, Witham in the District of Braintree, from both junctions with Powers Hall End Roundabout for a distance of approximately 450m in a south easterly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction in that length of South Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree from its junction with Silks Way to its junction with Railway Street as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (South Street, Braintree) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2010' for the duration of the above closure only.
The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 7th May 2024 for 81 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001315077 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

The Order came into effect on 18th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(South Street/New Street, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of South Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Notley Road to its junction with Fairfield Road a distance of approximately 215m.
2. To temporarily close that length of New Street, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with South Street for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 7th May 2024 for 2 nights (19:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WF6N959MJT1 & BC008WF6N959MJT2 -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while underground cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via St Michaels Road, High Street, Pierrefitte Way, Rayne Road, Springwood Roundabout, Pods Brook Road, Panners Roundabout, Braintree Bypass, A120, A120 J B1018 Roundabout, Galley Roundabout, A120, Marks Roundabout, Coggeshall Road, Coggeshall Road Roundabout, Coggeshall Road - Railway Street Junction, Railway Street, South Street and vice versa (following the one way system onto and off A120).
The Order came into effect on 18th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Tinkers Green Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tinkers Green Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 375m north east of its junction with Spains End Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th May 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01462584553 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End, Spains Hall Road and vice versa (with access only into Tinkers Green Road). The Order came into effect on 18th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
