What is happening?

(Alderford Street, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Alderford Street, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 85m south west of its junction with Alderford Farm Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th May 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03163285990 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial reinstatement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Swan Street, Yeldham Road, Crouch Green, Nunnery Street, Pye Corner, Bayley Street, Castle Lane, Falcon Square, King Street, Queen Street, Sheepcot Road and vice versa (with access only into Alderford Street). The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queens Road, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic), (Burrows Road, Temporary Suspension of One Way & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Queens Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Monks Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a south westerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the one way restriction in that length of Burrows Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 38m in a northerly direction as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (Burrows Road, Earls Colne) (One Way) Order 2014' for the duration of the above closure only.
3. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of Burrows Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 38m in a northerly direction for the duration of the above closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time" restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30071087564 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electrical works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via High Street, Burrows Road, Hillie Bunnies and vice versa (with access only into Queens Road).
The Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queen Street/Sheepcot Road, Castle Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Queen Street, Castle Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 70m south west of its junction with Pottery Lane for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Sheepcot Road, Castle Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Queen Street for a distance of approximately 35m in a south easterly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 7th May 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03163759843 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Bayley Street, Pye Corner, Nunnery Street, Crouch Green, Yeldham Road, Swan Street, Potter Street, Queen Street, Halstead Road, Halstead Road - A1124, Dynes Hall Road, Purls Hill, Hedingham Road and vice versa (with access only into Station Road, Sheepcot Road, St James Street and Queen Street). The Order came into effect on 18th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Station Road, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Oddcroft for a distance of approximately 30m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th May 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010654761 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial reinstatement works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Halstead Road, High Street, Church Hill, Upper Holt Street, Lower Holt Street, Colneford Hill, Colne Park Road, Lawshall's Hill, Countess Cross, Cricks Road, Hill House Road, The Street, Clay Hills, Levitts Corner and vice versa (with access only into Colne Road, Pebmarsh Road and Station Road).
The Order came into effect on 18th April 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
