What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Pear Tree Lane (Part), Cheverell Magna; from its junction with B3098 for a distance of approximately 160m in a south westerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out safe access to network and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 20 May 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 3 days. B) Petticoat Lane (Part), Dilton Marsh; from its junction with B3099 to its property known as No.21C Petticoat Lane to enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out mains replacement and associated works. This Order will come into operation on 20 May 2024 and the closure will start at 09:00 and will be required for 24 hours a day until 26 July 2024. Alternative route via C211 (unaffected length) - C212 - B3107 - C211 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: D) Green Lane, Winsley; from its junction with Belcombe Road to its property known as Turleigh Barn to enable Gigaclear to carry out installation of ducting to provide fibre to residents and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 29 April 2024 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day until 10 May 2024. E) Whiteheads Lane (Part), Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Silver Street for a distance of approximately 80m in a northerly direction to enable Gigaclear to carry out installation of ducting to provide fibre to nearby properties and associated works. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 29 April 2024 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day for 5 days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Phase 1: B3105 (Part), Hilperton and Staverton; from its junction with Hammond Way to its junction with Cottles Barton. Phase 2: B3105 (Part), Staverton and Holt; from its junction with Cottles Barton to its junction with B3106. Phase 3: B3105 (Part), Holt; from its junction with B3106 to its junction with B3107 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route HGV via B3104 (unaffected length) -A361 - A350 - A365 - B3109 - B3105 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route all other vehicles via B3105 (unaffected length) - A361 - A350 - B3106 - B3105 (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 29 April 2024 and the closure will be on weekday nights only and will be required until 01 June 2024. The closure hours of phase 1 and 2 will be 19:00 - 23:59, the closure hours for phase 3 will be 19:00 - 06:00. The phases will run consecutively and not concurrently, and local publicity will be arranged for all affected businesses. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Alternative route via Fore Street - Market Street and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 02 May 2024 and the closure will be required 24 hours a day for 8 days. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: Wine Street, Bradford on Avon; from its junction with Newtown to its junction with B3108. And to temporarily suspend the existing one-way Order on Wine Street, Bradford on Avon. And to temporarily suspend the existing prohibition of no-entry into Wine Street to allow access and egress for residents. And to temporarily implement a no waiting at any time restriction for the purpose of relieving or preventing congestion from its property known as No.04 Wine Street to its junction with Newtown to enable Gigaclear to carry out ducting and associated works. Alternative route via B3108 - A363 -Newtown and vice versa. The closure, diversion route and restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 29 April 2024 and the restrictions will be required for 24 hours day until 10 May 2024. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Notice is hereby given that on 17 April 2024 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To amend the following restrictions in the Parishes of West Wiltshire Consolidation Order 2019 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. DS28 dated 07/02/2022 and EJ15 dated 25/11/2019 and replace them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. DS28 and EJ15 and introduce new Map Schedule Nos. A copy of the Orders can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@wiltshire.gov.uk. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 29 April 2024.
