The County of Cornwall (Road From Whitewell Road To Allen Valley Road, St Teath, Bodmin) (Temporary Prohibition of Trafc) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in St Teath, Bodmin. 
This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th May 2024 to 13th May 2024. 13th May 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1700, weekdays only.

The County of Cornwall (B3263 Between Coast Road And Penally Hill, Boscastle) (Temporary Prohibition of Trafc) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Boscastle. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th May 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1700, weekdays only.

Section 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Trafc Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 18th March 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by trafc over an area of highway being Bodmin Road, B3274 From Bojea Mill To Drummers Hill, St Austell from Priory Car Park entrance to Drummers Hill.
The Order which commenced on the 3rd April 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 10th May 2024.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The Council is satisfed that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difculties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out structural carriageway repairs. Nothing in this Order will apply to trafc associated with the works required within the highway specifed above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for installation of statutory fbre network and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th May 2024 to 23rd May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Roads afected - Castle Street from junction on Love Lane to outside No 30, Cross Lane from junction on Castle Street to junction on St Dominic Close, Bodmin.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Cubert. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th May 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in Nanpean. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th May 2024 to 29th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Section 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Trafc Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by trafc over an area of highway being East Street Newquay between No 10 and No 18.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one- way order The County of Cornwall (Newquay) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Marcus Hill (Class III) for its entire length.

The Council is satisfed that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to provide new water service.
The Order will come into operation on 12th May 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 14th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700 on a daily basis, weekends included.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to trafc associated with the works required within the highway specifed above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer. Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Trafc Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Trafc Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 30th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by trafc over an area of highway being Footpath 25 in the Parish of Luxulyan between grid references SX 07313:55688 and SX 07341:55728. The Council is satisfed that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the public right of way due to defective footbridge.
The Order will come into operation on 1st May 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 1st November 2024. 
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 10th April 2024 for a period of up to 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to trafc associated with the works required within the highway specifed above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police ofcer.

The County of Cornwall (Newquay Road, St Columb Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Trafc) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in St Columb Road. 
This prohibition is necessary for annual review and maintenance of Level Crossing and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th May 2024 to 15th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0600, weekdays only.

Road afected - Newquay Road, St Columb Road over the length of the Level Crossing.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by trafc of the undermentioned length of road in St Teath, Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for ducting and gully sucking works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th May 2024 to 17th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for principal road mantenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th May 2024 to 15th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.
