The County of Cornwall (Quay Road, St Agnes)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Agnes. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th May 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Quay Road, St Agnes Quay Road, St Agnes between the properties named Goonlaze and Coombrae Cottage.

The County of Cornwall (Sunset Drive, Unity Road, Wheal Rose, St Peters Way, and Warren Close, Porthleven) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Porthleven. This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th May 2024 to 7th June 2024.

Roads subject to prohibition - Sunset Drive and Unity Road for their entire lengths, Wheal Rose between the junctions of Unity Road and Warren Close, St Peters Way, and Warren Close for their entire lengths, Porthleven.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Porthleven. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Sunset Drive and Unity Road for their entire lengths, Wheal Rose between the junctions of Unity Road and Warren Close, St Peters Way, and Warren Close for their entire lengths, Porthleven.

The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekends included.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Porthallow. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th May 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1700, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Porthallow To Talland Village Road Sign, Porthallow between properties known as Porthallow Court Cottage and The Chalet.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 29th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Redruth.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th May 2024 to 21st May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Treskillard, Redruth for its entire length

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Sithney. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th May 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Trevarno between the junctions of Scholars Lane and Tregoose and Sithney Green between the junction of Scholars Lane and the property named Wrays Cottage, Sithney.

Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Wendron Street Helston between the junctions of Meneage Street and Penrose Road. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Helston) (Consolidation of Restrictions on Driving) Order 1989, Wendon Street (A.394) between its junctions with Meneage Street and Godolphin Road and Godolphin Road (A.394) between its junctions with Wendon Street and Clodgey Lane

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out poling works.

The Order will come into operation on 30th May 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 31st May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0500 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to emergency services, cyclists, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

This prohibition is necessary for gully sucking works and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th May 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - West Trewirgie Road, Redruth between the junctions of Coach Lane and Trewirgie Gardens.
