ST HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT

ESTABLISHMENT OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that St Helens Borough Council in exercise of its powers and having consulted with the Chief of Police under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to install a pedestrian crossing at the location indicated in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

Duke Street, St Helens - Puffin Crossing

A Puffin Crossing on Duke Street, St Helens, approximately 39 metres northwest of its

junction with Rigby Street.

The extents of the controlled area are:

from a point approximately 17 metres northwest of its junction with Rigby Street for a distance

of approximately 43 metres in a north-westerly direction.

A copy of the proposed scheme can be requested via traffic@sthelens.gov.uk or by contacting 01744 676398.

Any person wishing to object or make representations must do so in writing to the undersigned, via traffic@sthelens.gov.uk or the postal address provided, to be received by no later than 16th May 2024, specifying the grounds on which they are made.
