Hysbysiad Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro 2024

Hysbysir Drwy Hyn Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 2ail Mai 2024 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd i’r gwaith cael ei gwblhau rhwng 2ail Mai 2024 a’r 7fed Mai 2024.

2. Roedd angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu Dŵr Cymru i wneud gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Glen Usk, Llanhenwg, Sir Fynwy, o’r gyffordd â Heol Uchaf Llanhenwg am ~100m.

4. Roedd yna lwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn: R106 Pont Sor i Fferm Clomendy Wood, R106 Fferm Colomendy Wood i Heol Treherbert, R106 Heol Treherbert i Westy Cwrt Bleddyn, R108 Ash Cottage to Pontnewydd ar Wysg ac i’r gwrthwyneb.

5. Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Glen Usk, Llanhenwg, Sir Fynwy, 2024.

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Notice Is Hereby Given That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

1. The Order came into operation on the 2nd May 2024 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 2nd May 2024 and 7th May 2024.

2. The order was necessary for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.

3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Glen Usk Road, Llanhennock, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Llanhennock Top Road for ~100m.

4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- R106 Sor Bridge to Clomendy Wood Farm, R106 Colomendy Wood Farm to Treherbert Road, R106 Treherbert Road to Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel, R108 Ash Cottage to Newbridge on Usk and vice versa.

5. This order may be cited as the Glen Usk Road, Llanhennock, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
