What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C713 NAUGHTON ROAD, WHATFIELD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C725

Naughton Road, Whatfield from 420 metres north of the junction

with Elmsett Road for 45 metres northbound to facilitate the

installation of a water pipe. Other co-ordinated works may also

take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the Whatfield Road, Nedging with

Naughton, New Road, Naughton Road, the B1078, the A1141,

the A1071, the road from the A1071 to the 8417, Cosford Road,

Whatfield Road, Aldham, Hadleigh Road, The Street

and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/04/2024 -14/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Anglian Water SPA. Tel: 07423 483649.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C713 TEN TREE ROAD, GREAT WALDINGFIELD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C713 Ten Tree Road, Great Waldingfield from 80 metres north west of the junction with the B1115 for 175 metres north westbound to facilitate cabling and pole works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cydists. The diversion route will be the B1115, the A134, Acton Lane, Newmans Green, Sudbury Road, High Street, Waldingfield Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1079 HELMINGHAM ROAD, OTLEY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1079 Helmingham Road, Otley from Wood Farm Bam for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the B1078 Swilland Road, the B1078 Road from Gibraltar Road to Swilland Road, the B1078 Ashbocking Road, the B1077 The Green, the B1077 Helmingham Road, the B1077 Ashbocking Road, the B1077 Ipswich Road, the B1077 Road from the A1120 to the 3323, the B1079 Otley Road, the B1079 Helmingham Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/04/2024 -01/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1078 CHARSFIELD ROAD, CLOPTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1078 Charsfield Road, Clopton from Clopton Grange for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate air valve works in the carriageway. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the B1079 Grundisburah Road, the B1079 Woodbridge Road, the B1079 GrundisburghRoad, the A12 Grove Road, the A12 Hasketon, the A12 Melton, the A12 Bredfield, the A12 Ufford, the A12 Pettistree, the B1078 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/04/2024 -02/0572024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF Traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C765 CROWN STREET, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C765 Crown Street, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Westgate Street for 55 metres northbound to facilitate the removal and installation of boilers and disconnecting a gas main in the carriageway. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Westgate Street, the A1302,

Northgate Street and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 09/05/2024 -

10/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for

18 months (or longer If extended by the Minister).
