Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

BAYLEY’S HILL & BOWZELL GREEN, SEVENOAKS WEALD, TN14 6HS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bayley’s Hill and Bowzell Green, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 7th May 2024 for up to 2 days between 09.00hrs and 17.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Bayley’s Hill House at the junction with Bayley’s Hill.

The alternative route is via Bayley’s Hill, Bowzell Green, Bowzell Road, Long Barn Road, Church Road, Hubbards Hill, Gracious Lane, Gracious Lane Bridge, White House Road and vice versa.

BETHEL ROAD, SEVENOAKS, TN13 3UE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of the disconnection of an existing service, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bethel Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 20th May 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed. The One Way will be suspended to allow access.

The road will be closed outside number 43.

The alternative route is via Bethel Road, Cedar Terrace Road, Holly Bush Lane, Bayham Road, Quakers Hall Lane, Bethel Road. Quakers Hall Lane, St. Johns Hill/Dartford Road, Holly Bush Lane, Cedar Terrace Road and Bethal Road for the opposite direction.

BRANDS HATCH ROAD, FAWKHAM, DA3 8NQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of tree cutting to keep branches away from power lines, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brands Hatch Road, Fawkham, on or after 22nd May 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Fawkham Green Road and Rogers Wood Lane.

The alternative route is via Scratchers Lane, A20 Main Road/Gorse Hill, A20 Main Road, A225 Dartford Road, A225 Main Road, Parsonage Lane, Darenth Hill, B260 Watchgate, B260 Green Street Green Road, B260 Main Road, Fawkham Road, Valley Road and vice versa.

CANADA FARM ROAD, SOUTH DARENTH, DA4 9LA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Canada Farm Road, South Darenth, on or after 7th May 2024 for up to 2 days between 09.00hrs and 17.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed near the junction of Three Gates Road.

The alternative route is via Scudders Hill, Valley Road, Fawkham Road, B260 Green Street Green Road, Canada Farm Road, Pinden and vice versa.

CARTER’S HILL, UNDERRIVER, TN15 0SD (PROHIBITION OF NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To facilitate the Tonbridge Lion’s Triathalon event, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit northbound through traffic on Carter’s Hill, Underriver, on or after 6th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the event has been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Mill Lane to St Julians Road, between the hours of 07:00 and 13:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Bank Lane, B245 London Road, Morleys Roundabout, A225 Riverhill, St Julians Road.

COOPERS LANE, PENSHURST, TN3 0RN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of the installation of drainage treatment equipment, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coopers Lane, Penshurst, on or after 20th May 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Willow Tree Cottage.

The alternative route is via Coopers Lane, Poundsbridge Hill and vice versa.

DARENT VALLEY 10K ROAD RACE - VARIOUS ROADS, SEVENOAKS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Darent Valley 10K Marathon 12th May 2024

For the safety of the public whilst an event is being held on the highway, Kent County Council has made an Order to restrict traffic on various roads as defined below.

High Street, Eynsford Road, EynsfordNorthbound from the entrance to Anthony Roper School to the junction with Gorse Hill Southbound from 150 yards North of Priory Lane up to the entrance to Anthony Roper School

High Street, FarninghamIn both directions between its junction with Eynsford Road and Sparepenny Lane

Sparepenny Lane, Farningham/EynsfordIn both directions between its junction with High Street, Farningham and Riverside

Diversion: from Wested Lane/Crockenhill Lane via the A20 and Eynsford Road

Lullingstone Lane, EynsfordIn both directions between Riverside and Lullingstone Castle

The Order will be effective when required on Sunday 12th May 2024 between 08.30hrs and 10.30hrs. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply in the direction and only at such times as indicated by traffic signs in operation.

Nothing in the Order will apply to:

• Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.

• Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.

• Anything done with the permission or at the direction of Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.

FINCH GREEN, CHIDDINGSTONE HOATH, TN8 7DJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Finch Green, Chiddingstone Hoath, on or after 9th May 2024 for up to 1 day between 08.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Blacksmiths Cottage.

The alternative route is via Coldharbour Road, Smarts Hill, B2188 Fordcombe Road, Grove Road and vice versa.

GROVE ROAD, PENSHURST, TN11 8DU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Grove Road, Penshurst, on or after 21st May 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Blowers Hill.

The alternative route is via Grove Road, B2188 Fordcombe Road, Smarts Hill, Coldharbour Road, Finch Green and vice versa.

HEVER ROAD, HEVER, TN8 7NP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of a new connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hever Road, Hever, on or after 20th May 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Hever Stud Farm.

The alternative route is via Hever Road, B2026 High Street/Mont St Aignan Way/Station Road, B2027 Four Elms Road/Bough Beech Road/Clinton Lane/Chequers Hill and vice versa.

STONEHOUSE LANE, HALSTEAD, TN14 7HL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of SGN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stonehouse Lane, Halstead, on or after 20th May 2024 for up to 22 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Broke Farm Drive and Treetops.

The alternative route is via Stonehouse Lane, A21 Sevenoaks Road, Rushmore Hill, Halstead Lane, Knockholt Road, Church Road and vice versa.

SUNDRIDGE ROAD, IDE HILL, TN14 6JU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sundridge Road, Ide Hill, on or after 20th May 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside South Lodge.

The alternative route is via Ide Hill Roundabout to B2042 Wheatsheaf Hill/Goathurst Common/Cold Arbor Road, A25 Westerham Road/Main Road, Church Road, Ide Hill Road and vice versa.
