(Beech Hill Lane Wigan) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Notice Of Proposals
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Beech Hill Lane Wigan) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Beech Hill Lane Wigan between its junction with Baytree Road and its junction with Beech Hill Avenue during the period of twelve days commencing on 20/07/2024 to 31/07/2024. The alternative route for traffic is: Baytree Road, Blackthorn Avenue and Beech Hill Avenue.
The Order is necessary to allow a new connection.
(Higher Green Lane Astley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Higher Green Lane Astley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Higher Green Lane Astley from outside house number 59a to the junction of Manor Road during the period of three days commencing on 02/07/2024.
The alternative route for traffic is: A580 East Lancashire Road, A572 Chaddock Lane and A572 Manchester Road.
The Order is necessary to allow a new water connection.
(Elm Avenue Golborne) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Notice Of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council has made the Wigan Borough (Elm Avenue Golborne) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven in Elm Avenue Golborne during the period of five days commencing on 24/06/2024.
Access will be maintained where possible.
The Order is necessary to allow a sewer repair.
