TEMPORARY PROHIBITION/RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict/prohibit pedestrians on Northwich FP16 (part) commencing at OSGR SJ 6418 7480 and running in a South Westerly direction for a distance of approximately 594 metres to a point on the footpath at OSGR SJ 6378 7437. The closure is necessary because works are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath.
The Order will come into operation on 13 May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of six months or until works are complete, whichever is sooner.
There is an alternative route.
This order does not prevent any pedestrians with access to premises situated on or adjacent to the public footpaths only accessible from the path or by any emergency vehicle.
