Walsall - Various Road Traffic Restrictions

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991 

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & CLEARWAY) ORDER No.2, MAY 2024 

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding or stopping in that length of:

 •A4148 BROADWAY NORTH, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with B4151 Sutton Road to its junction with A34 Birmingham Road. (Tuesday 7 May 2024) (Monday 13 May 2024) (Monday 20 May 2024) (0930 – 1530). 

  • CLAYHANGER ROAD, BRIDGE STREET AND CLAYHANGER LANE, BROWNHILLS that is situated from its junction with B4152 Lindon Road to its junction with A4124 Pelsall Road. (Wednesday 8 May 2024) (Tuesday 14 May 2024) (Tuesday 21 May 2024) (0930 – 1445).

• GREEN LANE, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with A452 Chester Road to its junction with A454 Little Aston Road. (Tuesday 7 May 2024) (Monday 13 May 2024) (Monday 20 May 2024) (0700 – 1700).

 • WHETSTONE LANE, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Erdington Road to its junction with Portland Road. (Wednesday 8 May 2024) (Tuesday 14 May 2024) (Tuesday 21 May 2024) (0930 – 1445).

 •B  OSTY LANE, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Dales Lane to its junction with A454 Walsall Road. (Wednesday 8 May 2024) (Tuesday 14 May 2024) (Tuesday 21 May 2024) (0930 – 1530).

 • GOULD FIRM LANE, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with A454 Little Aston Road to its junction with Hobs Hole Lane (Wednesday 8 May 2024) (Tuesday 14 May 2024) (Tuesday 21 May 2024) (0700 – 1700). Reason for order: Carriageway dressing. Works on behalf of: Walsall MBC (Maintenance). 

This Order will come into operation on Tuesday 7 May 2024. It is anticipated that the work will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signs will be erected on site indicating when the no stopping restriction will be in force and signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the work is completed, whichever is the earlier.
