Chessington Road (B2200) and Spring Street (B2200) Ewell Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 24 April 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) the eastbound carriageway of Chessington Road (B2200) Ewell as extends from its junction with (X97005) The Ridings to its junction with (D2320) Old Schools Lane; (b) Spring Street (B2200) Ewell as extends from its junction with the exit for the property known as "Bourne Hall" to its junction with (B2200) Chessington Road and for a distance of 15 metres in an northeasterly direction; (c) Spring Street (B2200) Ewell as extends from its junction with the exit for the property known as "Bourne Hall" to its junction with (B2200) Chessington Road and for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction. Alternative Route: (1) (B2200) Chessington Road westbound, (B284) Chessington Road, (B284) Ruxley Lane, (A240) Kingston Road, (C254) Kingston Road, (B2200) Kingston Road, (B2200) High Street, Ewell, and (B2200) Spring Street. (2) (B2200) Chessington Road eastbound, (C254) Kingston Road, (A240) Kingston Road, (B284) Ruxley Lane, (B284) Chessington Road, and (B2200) Chessington Road. (3) (B2200) Chessington Road westbound, take third exit at (D2266) Longmead Road roundabout back onto (B2200) Chessington Road. If turning circle not suitable turn left onto (D2266) Longmead Road and take fourth exit back onto (D2266) Longmead Road, and eastbound on (B2200) Chessington Road. This Order is required to facilitate signal refurbishment works for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 phases, between the hours of 7pm and 5am, Monday to Friday only during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 07 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for residents and businesses will be maintained via the diversion routes above. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle's owner. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D2267 Chantilly Way, Epsom. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate safety defect works and/ or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle's owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. B2200 London Road, Ewell
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:-(a) impose a northbound one-way on traffic proceeding B2200 London Road, Ewell which extends from its junction with Kingston Road to the southern extent of the partition wall of St Marys Church; (b) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding on the eastern side of the carriageway (southbound lane) of the length of road specified and described in subparagraph (a) above. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate slot cutting works and/or traffic signals improvement works which is anticipated to be completed within 2 nights, between 8pm and 5am, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 15 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and one-way will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle's owner. The said restriction shall not apply to vehicles being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes in an emergency; or in relation to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the road by or on behalf of Surrey Police. Alternative Route - continue northbound on Ewell By-Pass, turn around at the roundabout (junction with Kingston Road), then continue southwards on Ewell By-Pass, turnaround at the roundabout (junction with Reigate Road), continue northbound on Ewell By-Pass, turn left into Cheam Road, proceeding northwards onto High Street and then London Road.
