What is happening?

London Borough Of Waltham Forest

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) The Waltham Forest (Thames Water Sewer Cover Replacement) (Skeltons Lane E10) (Temporary Measures) (No. 1) Order 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Council) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 25th April 2024 it made an Order to allow for the replacement of the sewer cover in Skeltons Lane E10 to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner, by Thames Water

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles, for any purpose, at any time, from,

i) entering or proceeding into Keats Road E10 - between its junction with Skeltons Lane and a point 10 metres northwest from the said junction; and

ii) waiting or loading in Skeltons Lane E10 - between the flank wall of No. 39 and the eastern kerb line of the access way to No.17.

Designated controlled parking spaces situated in the parts of roads affected by the measures set out in paragraph 2 above will be suspended.

The Order will come into operation on 2nd May 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 1 day however the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies (Ref: TT18(24))

The Waltham Forest (Ukpn Substation Roof Replacement) (Winslow Grove E4) (Temporary Measures) (No. 1) Order 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 25th April 2024 it made an Order to allow for the replacement of a substation roof in slow Grove E4 to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner by UK Power Networks (UKPN).

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except work vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at "any time", in Winslow Grove (WG) E4 - between its junction with Little Friday Road and the common boundary of Nos. 5/7 WG.

The Order will come into operation on 25th April 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 9 days, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies (Ref: TT20(24))

The Waltham Forest (Various Roads) (Gully Cleaning Programme) (Temporary Measures) (No. 1) Order 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 25th April 2024 it made an Order to enable highway gulley/drainage maintenance works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs (except works vehicles) from waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in:

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in: (a) Cann Hall Ward: Wragby Road E11; (b) Grove Green Ward: Cheneys Road E11; and (c) Forest Ward Nottingham Road E10.

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait or load for any purpose, at any time, within 30 metres of the junction of any road adjoining the roads or sections of roads contained in paragraph 2 above.

Whilst works are being carried out in any roads mentioned in paragraph 2 the one-way workings / no entry prohibitions for those sections of roads, or in any road adjoining those said sections of roads mentioned in paragraph 2 will be suspended. The Order will come into operation on 25th April 2024* and for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner.

*The date on which the Order will come into operation has been amended from 4th April 2024, stated in the notice advertised on 18th March 2024.

NOTE: These works would not be carried out simultaneously in all roads but in a sequence as directed by the Council. (Ref: TT7b(24))

The Waltham Forest (Ukpn Electricity Supply Installation) (Friday Hill West E4) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) (No. 1) Order 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 25th April 2024 it made an Order to allow for the installation of electricity supply lines to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner by UK Power Networks (UKPN) in Friday Hill West E4.

The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except work vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at "any time", in Friday Hill West E4 - between the south facing wall of No. 27 and the common boundary of Nos. 35/37 The Order will come into operation on 7th May 2024 for

a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 1 day, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies (Ref: TT22(24))

The Waltham Forest (Thames Water Service Disconnection) (Grove Road E17) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) (No. 1) Order 2024

The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Council) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to allow for the disconnection of services by Thames Water in a safe and efficient manner in Grove Road E17.

The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in Grove Road E17 - between its junction with Eden Road / Fraser Road and the common boundary of Nos. 107/109.

The Order would come into operation on 20th May 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 5 days, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies (Ref: TT23(24))

Signage will be placed in advance of any works in the roads mentioned in the aforementioned notices which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary. Dated 25th April 2024
