ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(CHEQUERS LANE, WELLINGBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Chequers Lane, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Chequers Lane, Wellingborough for its entire length.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during new connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(ORTON ROAD, LODDINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Orton Road, Loddington as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Orton Road, Loddington from Rothwell Road to Main Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Rothwell Road.

(COTTERSTOCK ROAD, GLAPTHORN)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Cotterstock Road, Glapthorn as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Cotterstock Road, Glapthorn from Southwick Road to Main Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during drainage repairs to carriageway.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 15 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Glapthorn Road and Benefield Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(CUT THROAT LANE, WELLINGBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Cut Throat Lane, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Cut Throat Lane, Wellingborough from the junction with Earls Barton Road to junction of Main Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pre-surface dressing patching.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to two days.

(DITCHFORD LANE, WELLINGBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Ditchford Lane, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Ditchford Lane, Wellingborough from the junction with Mill Road to the junction with A45 (exit slip).

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pre-surface dressing patching.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 8 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use A5001, A45, A6 and Wellingborough Road.

(A509 KETTERING ROAD, ISHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of the A509 Kettering Road, Isham as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of the A509 Kettering Road, Isham from the junction with The Green to the A509.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pre-surface dressing patching.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 25th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to nine days.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(HERRIOTTS LANE, WELLINGBOROUGH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Herriotts Lane, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Herriotts Lane, Wellingborough from the junction at Great Park Street to junction with Church Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during stop tap replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: 1. Church Street, Park Road, Havelock Road. 2. St. Johns Street, High Street and Church Street.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(ROCKINGHAM ROAD, KETTERING)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Rockingham Road, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Rockingham Road, Kettering from Kingsley Avenue to Britannia Road – from Northfield Close to Rockingham Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during road resurfacing.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 3rd May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: 1. Britannia Road, Shakespeare Road and Kingsley Avenue. 2. Northfield Avenue, Grafton Street and Rockingham Road. 3. (HGV) Northfield Avenue, Warren Hill, A43 and Rockingham Road.
