Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Rayner Avenue, Stanground, Peterborough. Ref: 25-004

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Rayner Avenue, Stanground, as lies between Allan Avenue and Wright Avenue. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Allan Ave, Wright Ave and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/04/2024 and will continue until the sluice valve repair works have been completed or until the 28/04/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 29/04/2024 and the 01/05/2024. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Helpston Road, Ailsworth, Peterborough. Ref: 25-005

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Helpston Road, Ailsworth, as lies between Main Street and Holme Close. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Main St, Helpston Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/04/2024 and will continue until the gas pipe installation works have been completed or until the 28/04/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 29/04/2024 and the 03/05/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Bainiton Green Road, Ashton, as lies between Helpston Road and High Field Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Helpston Rd, Ufford Rd, Bainton Green Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/04/2024 and will continue until the new water mains installation works have been completed or until the 28/04/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 29/04/2024 and the 03/05/2024. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Longthorpe Cyclepaths 2024. Ref: 25-017

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycleway known as Longthorpe Cyclepaths to the rear of Kirkton Gate. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: Kirkton Gate. The Order will come into operation on the 29/04/2024 and will continue until the drainage works have been completed or until the 29/10/2024, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Eyebury Road, Eye, as lies between Access Road to Tanholt and Oxney Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Oxney Rd, Parnwell Way, Paston Parkway, A47, Crowland Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 05/05/2024 and will continue until the new telecoms connection works have been completed or until the 04/05/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place on the 05/05/2024 only. The City of Peterborough Maxey Road, Helpston, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024. Ref: 25-009

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Maxey Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of the Maxey Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 05/05/2024 and will continue until the Annual Level Crossing Test works have been completed or until the 04/05/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight from 23:00hrs on the 05/05/2024 to 06:00hrs on the 06/05/2024.            BR1

The City of Peterborough Glinton Road, Helpston, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024. Ref: 25-010

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Glinton Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Helpston Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Glinton Rd, Maxey Rd, High St (Maxey), Maxey Rd, A15, Helpston Rd and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 06/05/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 05/05/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 22:30hrs and 05:00hrs from the 06/05/2024 to the 11/05/2024. BR1

The City of Peterborough Westbrook Park Road, Woodston, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024. Ref: 25-011

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Westbrook Park Road, Woodston as lies between Celta Road and Westbrook Park Close. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Celta Rd, London Rd, New Rd, Westbrook Park Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 06/05/2024 and will continue until the major installation works have been completed or until the 05/05/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 06/05/2024 and the 30/08/2024. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Hinchcliffe Footpath, Orton, Peterborough – 2024. Ref: 25-013

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Hinchcliffe Footpath, Orton as lies between 1 and 7. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Hinchcliffe, Scotendon, Hinchcliffe and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 07/05/2024 and will continue until the meter exchange works have been completed or until the 06/11/2024, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Princes Road, Fletton, as lies between Fletton Avenue and High Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: High St, Duke St, Fellowes Rd, Fletton Ave and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 07/05/2024 and will continue until the new electrical connection works have been completed or until the 06/05/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 07/05/2024 and the 13/05/2024. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Crowland Road, Nene Terrace, A16, Thorney Road, Bukehorn Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 06/05/2024 and will continue until the installation of strategic pipeline works have been completed or until the 05/05/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 06/05/2024 and the 17/05/2024. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Oxney Road Eastbound, Sainsburys roundabout, Oxney Road Westbound. The proposed order will come into force on the 07/05/2024 and will continue until the access to underground network works have been completed or until the 06/05/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs between the 07/05/2024 and the 08/05/2024.
