What is happening?
VARIATION OF CHARGES FOR RESIDENTS’ PARKING PERMITS
(APRIL 2024)
NOTICE is given by the Oxfordshire County Council (the “Council”) pursuant
to Section 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Section 25 of the
Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations
1996, that charges for residents parking permits in Oxford, Abingdon, and
Henley-on-Thames have been varied.
Each of the Parking Orders for Oxford City and North Hinksey (Controlled
Parking Zones), South Oxfordshire District, Cherwell District Council and
The Vale of White Horse District have fees increased in accordance with the
below tables.
The revised charges – in line with the approved budgets set at Cabinet in
January 2023 – came into effect on 1 April 2024.
