ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(BRINGTON ROAD, GREAT BRINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Brington Road, Great Brington as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brington Road, Great Brington from the junction of East Haddon Road for 200 metres northeast.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to chamber, cover, and frame.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 22nd May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Brington Road, A428, New Sandy Lane, Roman Road, Nobottle Road, Main Street, Great Brington Road and Main Street.

(OLEANDER CRESCENT, NORTHAMPTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Oleander Crescent, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Oleander Crescent, Northampton between numbers 1-5.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. (WILLOW VIEW, KISLINGBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Willow View, Kislingbury as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Willow View, Kislingbury – between 17-23.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gas connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Nene Way and Willow View.

(CHAPEL PLACE, NORTHAMPTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Chapel Place, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Chapel Place, Northampton from Abington Square to Kettering Gardens.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new water connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Abington Square and Kettering Gardens.

(DOVECOTE ROAD, ROADE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Dovecote Road, Roade as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Dovecote Road, Roade from outside number 18 for 50 metres.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole renewal.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Hyde Road and Blisworth Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Sheep Street, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Sheep Street, Northampton from the junction with Church Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new water connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of roads as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Northampton Road, Weston Haddon and Weston Haddon Road, Long Buckby and East Haddon from A428 West Haddon bypass to Church Lane East Haddon.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during surface dressing and associated works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted until 17th May 2024 and then when signed.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use West Haddon bypass, Crick Road, West Haddon Road, Rugby Road, A5, A45 Flore bypass, Weedon Road, Tollgate Way, Bants Lane and Harlestone Road.

(LITTLE LONDON, SILVERSTONE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Little London, Silverstone as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Little London, Silverstone from Whittlebury Road to Tinkers Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during clearance of blockage in telecom works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 17th May 2024.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Brackley Road and Whittlebury Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Holdenby Road, Teeton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Holdenby Road, Teeton from Teeton Grange to Lodge Cottages.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repair to cover, chamber and frame.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Holdenby Road, A5199 and Teeton Road.
