What is happening?

BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

(THTTC3443 FEATHERBED LANE, CLUTTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Featherbed Lane, Clutton from its junction with A37 Upper Bristol Road extending north west to a point opposite the property known as Willow Ridge. USRN: 47902637.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out some tree cutting in order to do a pole check on the 14th May 2024 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30-15:30hrs.

(THTTC3439 MILL LANE, COMPTON MARTIN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Mill Lane, Compton Martin from its junction with the A368 extending north for its entire length. USRN: 47902564. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Gigaclear to clear blockages in the carriageway on the 15th May 2024 for a maximum period of 2 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for SEVEN DAYS.

(THTTC3431 B3355 HIGH STREET, PAULTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of B3355 High Street, Paulton from its junction with Ashleigh Close extending south east to its junction with Barton Well. USRN: 47917698.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to disconnect a gas service on the 27th April 2024 for a maximum period of 5 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWO WEEKEND DAYS.

(THTTC3448 FOOTPATH BERKELEY GARDENS TO CAMEROONS CLOSE, KEYNSHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a footpath closure in that length of Footpath Berkeley Gardens to Cameroons Close, Keynsham from a point outside 38 Berkeley Gardens extending north to a point outside number 35 and then extending east for approximately 18 metres. USRN: 47921633.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath to provide Openreach a safe working area for engineers to excavate and install new ducting in the footway on the 14th May 2024 for a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAYS between 08:30-16:30hrs only.
