What is happening?

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ELMSDALE AVENUE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Elmsdale Avenue from its junction with Barton Road to its junction with Arbury Avenue.

The Order will come into effect at 06.00 hours on Monday 29th April 2024 and is required to enable repair works to a man-hole cover and frame to be undertaken safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 18.00 hours on Monday 29th April 2024.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to Elmsdale Avenue.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS COVENTRY HALF MARATHON 2024

Coventry City Council (“the Council”) under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, has made a temporary Order (“the Order”), the purpose of which is to facilitate the holding of, and to enable members of the public to watch, the Coventry Half Marathon 2024.

The Order will come into effect at 18:00 hours on Saturday 27th April 2024 and will remain in effect until 13.00 hours on Sunday 28th April 2024.

The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading, unloading, entering, or proceeding along the lengths of road listed in Schedules 1 to 3 below on the dates and times stated.

The restrictions in the Order shall apply to such extent and at such times as indicated by prescribed traffic signs on site.

Diversion routes for the closures will be as signed on site.

Local access for Browns Lane and Brownshill Green Road (Garden Centre, Amazon & Businesses): via crossing at The Windmill Hill onto Browns Lane, Hawkes Mill Lane and Wall Hill Road Local access for residents of Coundon: Via crossing points at Scots Lane/ Cedars Avenue, Three Spires Avenue/Browett Road and Holyhead Road/ Kingsbury Road Local access for Lammas Road: Via Holyhead Road, Beaumont Crescent and Moseley Avenue Wall Hill Road will be maintained via Piker’s Lane; Warwick Road will be maintained via ring road junction 5 to Friar’s Road; and Waste Lane.

Roads will be re-opened when it is safe to do so.

Exemptions to the Order will be as set out in Schedule 4 below.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS NORTHFIELD ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Northfield Road fronting house number 111 to number 135. The Order will come into effect from Monday 29th April 2024 and is required for facilitate water connection works on the highway to take place safely. The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 3rd May 2024.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site. Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS CHEVERAL AVENUE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Cheveral Avenue from a point outside number 81 Cheveral Avenue to a point outside 105 Cheveral Avenue.

The Order would come into effect from 06:00 hours on Tuesday 7th May 2024 and is required to enable repair works to a communications pipe to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 18:00 hours on Friday 10th May 2024.

The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Charlewood Road from its junction with Deerhust Road to its junction with Paynell Close.

The Order would come into effect from 06:00 hours on Tuesday 7th May 2024 and is required to enable repair works to a communications pipe to
take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 18:00 hours on Thursday 23rd May 2024.

The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Pickford Green Lane, commencing from a point on the bend of the road leading to Pickford Grange Lane and continuing to the junction with Pickford Grange Lane The Order will come into effect at 09.30 hours on Monday 6th May 2024 and is required to enable Severn Trent Water to rebuild a hydrant chamber safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 18.00 hours on Wednesday 8th May 2024.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS EARLSDON FESTIVAL 2024

Coventry City Council (“the Council”) under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, as amended, intends to make a temporary Order (“the Order”), the purpose of which is to facilitate the holding of, and to enable members of the public to attend Earlsdon Festival 202 The Order would come into effect at 05.30 hours on 6th May 2024 and would remain in effect until 18.00 hours on 6th May 2024.

The general effect of the Order would be to prohibit all vehicles from
:
(a) Entering or proceeding along the Earlsdon Street in both directions between its junctions with Providence Street and Earlsdon Avenue South

(b) Waiting, loading/unloading, or proceeding on Earlsdon Street in both directions between its junctions with Providence Street and Earlsdon Avenue South

The restrictions in the Order shall apply to such extent and at such times as indicated by prescribed traffic signs on site.

Surrounding roads would be barriered and manned by volunteers to maintain access to properties.

The Order would prohibit vehicles to such an extent and at such time as indicated by event marshals and prescribed traffic signs on site. Diversion routes for the closures will be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for any vehicle being used in connection with the event, emergency service vehicles, any person upon the direction of or with the permission of a police officer in uniform or an authorised traffic management event marshal.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Fenside Avenue.

The Order would come into effect from Tuesday 7th May 2024 is required to enable Severn Trent Water to carry our new water connection renewal. The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Wednesday 29th May 2024.

Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(d) local vehicular access to the closed section Fenside Avenue.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Paynes Lane from a point outside number 31 to a point outside number 21 Paynes Lane.

The Order would come into effect from 07:00 hours on Friday 10th May 2024 and is required to enable pothole repairs and associated works on the said road to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 10th May 2024.

The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.
