What is happening?

SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE BOROUGH OF SLOUGH WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2017 
(AMENDMENT NO. 37) ORDER 2024 (Order 22 of 2024) (PROPOSED ORDER)
Sections 1, 45, 46 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 7 of the Local 
Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 as amended.
1. SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under sections 1, 45, 46 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation 
Act 1984 and any other enabling powers. The effects of the Order are set out below.
2. A new “BS2” parking zone would be created for parking in selected areas of the carriageway covering all of Baylis Road, all of Bradley Road, 
all of Carmathen Road, all of Leeds Road and all of Oakley Crescent.
3. The Proposed Order would introduce resident parking places and waiting restrictions operating on all days and at all times in these roads, 
with 1 hour limited waiting, with no return within 1 hour, operating 8am to 7pm on Mondays to Sundays inclusive in Bradley Road. No waiting 
restriction would also be introduced in Pool Lane and part of Stoke Poges Lane.
Properties eligible for the issue of permits are set out in the Schedule below.

South side: Odd numbers only, numbers 1 to 79 inclusive
BS2 Bradley Road North side: Even numbers only, numbers 2a to 70 inclusive
Belgrave Parade: Numbers 6 to 9 inclusive 
BS2 Carmarthen Road North side: Odd numbers only, numbers 1 to 39 inclusive
South side: Even numbers only, numbers 2 to 40 inclusive
BS2 Leeds Road North side: Odd numbers only, numbers 1 to 39 inclusive
South side: Even numbers only, numbers 2 to 40 inclusive
BS2 Oakley Crescent (north to south arm) East side: numbers 1 to 6 inclusive
BS2 Oakley Crescent (east to west arm) South and south west sides: numbers 7 to 20 inclusive
BS2 Pool Lane East side: Beauchamp Court: numbers 1 to 7 inclusive
West side: Fraunches Court: numbers 1 to 7 inclusive


4. Copies of the Proposed Order, this notice and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at the Council’s offices during normal working hours (excluding bank and public holidays). They may also be inspected on the Council’s website at

5. Anyone wishing to object to the Proposed Order may do by writing to the address below or emailing

parking.consultations@slough.gov.uk

The objection must be made in writing, stating the grounds on which it is made, and must be sent so as to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of this Notice.
