ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(A508 HARBOROUGH ROAD, MAIDWELL)
(40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order under Section 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed exceeding 40 mph along that length of road specified in the Schedule below.

A COPY of the Order may be inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700. A copy of the Order can also be obtained on request by emailing WNCParkingenquiries@kier.co.uk 

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose. The Order will become effective on 29th April 2024.

A508 Harborough Road – from a point 25 metres from behind the southern Maidwell Village

Gateway on the A508 Harborough Road for 255 metres north-bound past Maidwell Hall and terminating outside No. 1 Hall Farm.
