What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (CHILWELL LANE, BRAMCOTE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) NOTICE 2024 (BX24-056)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Bramcote in the Borough of Broxtowe The effects of the Order will be:

1. No Person shall Proceed the following length of road: Chilwell Lane, Bramcote, - From its junction with Cow Lane to its junction with Peache Way.

2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.

3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.

IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 00:01 hours on 8th May 2024.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: A52 Brian Clough Way - B6003 Toton Lane - B6003 Stapleford Lane - A6005 Nottingham Road - Attenborough Lane - School Lane - Bramcote Lane and vice versa.

This Order will come into force on 8th May 2024 and continues the restrictions introduced by the 21-day notice BX24-056 which came into force on 18th April 2024 for a maximum of 18 months.
