Lancaster Road - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford made the Salford City Council
(A580 East Lancashire Road Junction With Lancaster Road , Salford) 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Order will close A580 East Lancashire Road Junction With Lancaster Road, Salford Overnight (7:00pm to 6:00am) The phase schedule will be as follows; Phase 1 - Eastbound closure of A580.
Phase 2 - Westbound closure of A580 and full closure of Lancaster Road. Diversions are set out below.
The road is required to be closed so carriageway resurfacing can take place as part of the A580 junction improvement scheme.
The Order is due to come into operation on the 7 May 2024 and shall continue in force for a period of 7 weeks provided that if the council determines that the order is no longer necessary in relation to the works then this order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
A copy of the Order and a plan of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
