PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U45237 Mill Lane/C2265 Village Street/C2265 Main Street, Aldington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2265 Main Street from Closure 1: U45237 Mill Lane junction with U45238 Chapel Lane to its junction with C2265 Village Street; Closure 2: C2265 Village Street junction with U45237 Mill Lane and C2265 Main Street for a distance of 30 metres in a southerly direction; Closure 3: C2265 Main Street from its junction with C2265 Village Street for a distance of 230 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Replacement water main by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2265 Village Street, B4035 Badsey Road, B4510 Offenham Road, C2265 Pitwell Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 40 days. Commencing: 29 April 2024.
(C2006 Weston Road, Honeybourne) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2006 Weston Road from its junction with C2049 High Street to its junction with County Boundary with Gloucestershire.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2049 High Street, C2049 Bretforton Road, C2049 Honeybourne Road, B4035 New Street, B4035 Weston Road, Honeybourne Road (Gloucestershire) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day (19:00 - 06:00) between 29 April 2024 and 17 May 2024.
(B4084 Windmill Hill, Stoulton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4084 Windmill Hill from its junction with B4084 Pershore Road to its junction with U47601 Windmill Lane
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4084 Pershore Road, A44 Whittington Road, A4440 Whittington Road, A4440 Swinesherd Way, A44 Spetchley Road, A44 Evesham Road, B4084 Egdon Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days (24hrs) between 22 May 2024 and 11 June 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (District of Wychavon - Pershore) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Abbey Road, Pershore] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Pershore: -
Abbey Road (West Side): From its junction with Farleigh Road for a distance of 17 metres in a northerly and 15m in a southerly direction and from its junction with Abbots Road for a distance of 14 metres in a northerly and 17m in a southerly direction.
Farleigh Road (West side): From its junction with Abbey Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction on both sides.
Abbots Road (West side): From its junction with Abbey Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction on both sides.
Abbey Road (East Side): From a point 68m, from its junction with St Andrews Road, for a distance of 31 metres and from a point 179m, from their junction, a further distance of 36m, in a northerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles.
