Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U11511 Woodbury Road West, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U11511 Woodbury Road West from its junction with U11510 Woodbury Road North to its junction with U11512 Woodbury Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11510 Woodbury Road North, B4195 Bewdley Road, U11512 Woodbury Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 29 April 2024 and 15 May 2024.
(U12137 Cobden Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U12137 Cobden Street from its junction with A456 Bewdley Road to its junction with U12135 Woodfield Crescent.
Reason: Carriageway patching and resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A456 Bewdley Road, U12135 Woodfield Crescent, U12136 Crescent Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 29 April 2024 and 5 May 2024.
(U11522 New Street, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U11522 New Street from its junction with U11523 Martins Way to its junction with A451 Bridge Street.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Westbound Diversion: A451 High Street, U11500 Lickhill Road, U11521 Moorhall Lane. Eastbound Diversion: U11521 Moorhall Lane, U11500 Lickhill Road, A451 High Street, A451 Lion Hill, A451 York Street.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 28 April 2024.
(B4194 Dowles Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4194 Dowles Road from its junction with U10228 Woodthorpe Drive to its junction with U10229 Sabrina Drive.
Reason: Rectify sunken gas box by Cadent Gas Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4194 Dowles Road (into Shropshire),
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 28 April 2024.
(U10005 Gorst Hill Road, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U10005 Gorst Hill Road from its junction with C2021 Bliss Gate Road to its junction with C2193 Gorst Hill.
Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2021 Bliss Gate Road, U10006 Dark Lane, C2193 Gorst Hill and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (from 07:00 overnight to 17:00) 29 April 2024.
(C2061 Thicknall Lane, Broome) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2061 Thicknall Lane from its junction with A450 Worcester Road to its junction with C2135 Broome Lane.
Reason: Closure to accommodate plant for carriageway resurfacing on U13400 Thicknall Farm Lane. No work will take place on Thicknall Lane.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A450 Worcester Road, C2135 Broome Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 17 days. Commencing: 22 May 2024.
(U12142 Chapel Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close the left-hand lane onto that part of U12142 Chapel Street from its junction with A456 Park Butts Ringway Roundabout for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction only.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A456 Park Butts Ringway Roundabout, A456 Bewdley Road, U12137 Cobden Street, U12135 Woodfield Crescent, U12141 Castle Road, U12144 Park Street.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 nights (19:00-06:00). Commencing: 20 May 2024.
(A449 Chester Road South, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: A449 Chester Road South in an easterly direction from its junction with A449 Hoobrook Roundabout to its junction with A449 Spennells Valley Roundabout.
Closure 2: A449 Chester Road South in a westerly direction from its junction with A449 Spennells Valley Roundabout to its junction with A449 Hoobrook Roundabout.
Reason: Bridgework inspection by Network Rail.
Exemptions: To permit access on foot only to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Please note: Emergency services need to follow the diversion route.
Alternative route: A442 Worcester Road, A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A449 Chester Road South and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (21:00-05:00) Commencing: 29 April 2024
(1 night eastbound 29 April 2024 to 30 April 2024; 1 night westbound 30 April 2024 to 1 May 2024).
(A4535 Sutton Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of A4535 Sutton Road from its junction with U12108 Poplar Road to its junction with U12131 Talbot Street.
Reason: Replacement manhole cover by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A4535 Sutton Road, A456 Bewdley Road, A456 Park Butts Ringway, A456 St Marys Ringway, A456 The Ringway, A451 Stourport Road, A4535 Sutton Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (18:00-06:00). Commencing: 20 May 2024.
(U13400 Thicknall Farm Lane, Broome) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U13400 Thicknall Farm Lane from its junction with C2061 Thicknall Lane to its junction with C2135 Broome Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2061 Thicknall Lane, C2135 Broome Lane and vice versa
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 22 May 2024 and 7 June 2024.
(Link Footpath F10163 Mitton Close to Worcester Road, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F10163 Mitton Close to Worcester Road from its junction with U11305 Mitton Close to its junction with A451 Mitton Road.
Reason: Works to repair wall collapse by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Link Footpath F10165 Gilgal, A451 Gilgal and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 71 days continuing from 4 April 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpaths UA-520, 521 & 524, Upper Arley) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024
Order made : To close Footpaths UA-520, 521 & 524, Upper Arley for their entire length.
The Order has been made to facilitate the installation of a freshwater pipeline for Severn Trent.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: There is no alternative route.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 4 April 2024.
