Temporary Closure C347 Rowcroft (Stroud Town) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C347 Rowcroft from its junction with Russell Street to its junction with Rowcroft Court for a distance of approximately 110 metres.

The reason for the closure is for Railway bridge inspection.

The road is expected to be closed on the dates and times shown in the schedule below only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route - as signed on site. Emergency access, and pedestrian access to adjoining properties, will be maintained.

Temporary Closure Of 501202 Tetbury Lane (Nailsworth Town) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501202 Tetbury Lane, from outside the property known as 'Ringfield Cottage' to its junction with Woodland View for a distance of approximately 80 metres.

The reason for the said closure is to allow for tree trimming near overhead cables. The said road is expected to be closed between 08:30am to 15:30pm on 25th April 2024 only or until completion of the works. Temporary Closure Of 407509 Butterrow West (Rodborough Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close the 407509 Butterrow West from its junction with Dark Lane to outside the property known as 'The Rodborough Community Hall' for a distance of approximately 230 metres. The reason for the closure is for works by Wales & West Utilities Ltd. The said road is expected to be closed from 29th April 2024 to 3rd May 2024 only or until completion of works. Temporary Closure Of 41491 Shortwood Football Ground To Wallow Green (Nailsworth Town) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41491 Shortwood Football Ground to Wallow Green, from outside the property known as 'Ivy Cottage' to outside the property known as 'Fair View' for a distance of approximately 55 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for a new water connection.

Temporary Road Closure 401437 Mount Pleasant Burleigh (Minchinhampton Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close the 401437 Mount Pleasant Burleigh from its junction with Brimscombe Hill to its junction with Burleigh Lane for a total distance of approximately 290 metres.

The reason for the closure is for fibre optic apparatus installation works.

Temporary Closure And Restriction Of C268 Butterow Hill (Stroud Town) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), to temporarily close and restrict part of the C268 Butterow Hill Road, from its junction with Rodborough Lane to outside of the property known as 'Steepways', for a distance of approximately 400 metres.

There will be no waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.

The reason for the closure is for works by National Grid.

Public Notice Gloucestershire County Council (40 Mph Speed Limit) (A419 Ebley Bypass And A419 Bristol Road) (Parishes Of Stonehouse And Kings Stanley) (Stroud District) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made the above-named order the effect of which is:

1) To implement a 30mph speed limit by virtue of streetlighting on a short stretch of the A419 Bristol Road, including Horsetrough Roundabout, and the A419 Ebley Bypass, including the dedicated left hand slip lane; and

2) To reduce the extent of the existing 40mph speed limit on the A419 Bristol Road and the A419 Ebley Bypass to align with the new extent of 30mph speed limit.

The lengths of roads fall within the Parishes of Stonehouse and Kings Stanley within the Stroud District in the County of Gloucestershire. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st May 2024 and may be cited as the "Gloucestershire County Council (40 MPH Speed Limit) (A419 Ebley Bypass And A419 Bristol Road) (Parishes of Stonehouse And Kings Stanley) (Stroud District) Order 2024".

Alternative Route - As signed on site. Emergency and pedestrian access will not be maintained for safety reasons as there will be loose debris.

Temporary Closure Of Part Of Public Bridleway Est 61 (Standish Parish) Stroud District

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Bridleway EST 61 from a point approximately 140 metres south from its junction with Public Footpath EST 44 and Oxlynch Lane and then extends in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 205 metres.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst construction works are completed.

The Order will come into force on the 1st May 2024, and it is anticipated that the bridleway will close on that day until 31st December 2024. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Alternative Route - As indicated on Order Plan. Pedestrian access to properties and emergency access will be maintained for the duration of the works.

Temporary Road Closure 501202 Tetbury Lane (Nailsworth Town) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close the 501202 Tetbury Lane from its junction with Bath Road outside of the property known as 'The Maltings' for a total distance of 125 metres approximately.

The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water. The said road is expected to be closed from 13th May 2024 until 15th May 2024 only or until the works have been completed. Temporary Closure Of C265 Tinkley Lane (Nympsfield Parish) Stroud District

Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the C265 Tinkley Lane, from outside of the property known as 'Arthur's Farm' to outside of the property known as 'Tinkley Farm' for a distance of approximately 2500 metres.

The reason for the closure is to rectify defective reinstatement works and replace missing line marking.

The said road is expected to be closed from 09:30hrs on 12th May 2024 and 15:30hrs on 14th May 2024 only or until the works have been completed.
