Hendford Hill - Temporary Closure Utilities To Carry Out Gas Mains Replacement Works

Parish of Yeovil Temporary Closure of Hendford Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Hendford Hill - from the junction with Dorchester Road Roundabout and the junction with Hendford Hill Roundabout. A total distance of 659 metres. This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 25th April 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29thApril 2024 and last until 2nd July 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 65 days.
