What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council,

Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpaths 30.20/7/1 & 30.20/6/1 Seamer, Order 2023 No 359 Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any public access along Public Footpaths 30.20/7/1 & 30.20/6/1 in the Parish of Seamer, between grid reference TA01558413 & TA01508394, due to construction works associated with landscaping for the public open space associated with the adjacent development, has been continued in force for a further 6 months until 30/10/24 or until the completion of the works (whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation of the closure will be put into effect by notices & signs. An alternative route will be signed on site. Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Overdale, Eastfield, Order 2024 No 134 North Yorkshire Council has made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from parking on Overdale, Eastfield between its junction with Westway & its northern junction with Herdborough Road for a temporary period from 01/05/24 to 12/07/24, because of parking suspension to enable works to be undertaken, however the max duration of this Order will be until 09/10/25. This Order follows an emergency closure which commenced 10/04/24. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Troutsdale Low Hall to Cockmoor Hall Plantation, Troutsdale, Order 2024, No. 136 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Troutsdale Low Hall to Cockmoor Hall Plantation, Troutsdale for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 27/05/24 & 07/06/24, due to essential maintenance. However, the max duration of this Order will be from 06/05/24 until 05/11/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
