Highways Notice
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Peckforton Hall Lane, Peckforton

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Peckforton Hall Lane, Peckforton – From the junction with Stone House Lane to the junction with A49 Whitchurch Road.

The alternative route will be via Stone House Lane, Wrexham Road, Ridley Green, Whitchurch Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Friday 3 May 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 28 June 2024.
