What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON CLIVE WAY, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of Clive Way, Watford from its junction with Colonial Way south westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), when signs are in place.
The Order is needed because the diversion of utility services are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WINDMILL LANE, BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Windmill Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with Windmill Street north eastwards to its junction with Clay Lane, a distance of approximately 311m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Clay Lane, A409 (Heathbourne Road/ Magpie Hall Road), A4140 High Road and Windmill Lane or via Clay Lane, A411 Elstree Road, A4140 High Road and Windmill Lane. The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN B4542 PRESTWICK ROAD, SOUTH OXHEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B4542 Prestwick Road, South Oxhey from its easternmost junction with Oxhey Drive south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards and north westwards to its westernmost junction with Oxhey Drive, a distance of approximately 2222m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via B4542 (Prestwick Road/Brookdene Avenue), A4125 (Hampermill Lane/Sandy Lane) and B4542 (By The Wood/Prestwick Road).
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HIGH ELMS LANE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of High Elms Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with The Shires south eastwards for a distance of approximately 150m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via High Elms Lane, Chequers Lane, A405 St Albans Road and High Elms Lane or via High Elms Lane, Woodside Road, Horseshoe Lane, A405 St Albans Road and High Elms Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 May 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B462 ALDENHAM ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B462 Aldenham Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Chalk Hill north eastwards to its junction with The Larches, a distance of approximately 91m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via A411 (Chalk Hill/London Road), Falconer Road, Finch Lane, The Avenue and B462 Aldenham Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THEOBALD STREET, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Theobald Street, Borehamwood from its junction with Beech Drive north westwards to its junction with Gateshead Road, a distance of approximately 95m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Theobald Street, B5378 Allum Lane, A5183 (Watling Street/ Cobden Hill/Watling Street) and Theobald Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Little Bushey Lane, Bushey from its junction with B462 Aldenham Road south eastwards to its junction with Coldharbour Lane, a distance of approximately 1938m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via B462 Aldenham Road, The Avenue, Finch Lane, Herkomer Road and Coldharbour Lane. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE A41 EASTBOUND SLIP ROAD
LEADING FROM THE A405 NORTH ORBITAL ROAD ROUNDABOUT AND THE A41 WESTBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO THE A405 NORTH ORBITAL ROAD ROUNDABOUT, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") :-
1. the A41 eastbound slip road leading from the A405 North Orbital Road roundabout, Watford from its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the eastbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, a distance of approximately 405m.
An alternative route will be via the A405 North Orbital Road roundabout, A41 North Western Avenue, the A41 Hempstead Road/ M25 (junction 19) roundabout and A41 North Western Avenue.
2. the A41 westbound slip road leading onto the A405 North Orbital Road roundabout, Watford from its junction with the westbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue north westwards to its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 355m.
An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, the A41 Hempstead Road/M25 (junction 19) roundabout and A41 North Western Avenue.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 April 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (HIGH STREET, RICKMANSWORTH) (PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLE ZONE) ORDER 2024
THE HERTFORDSHIRE (HIGH STREET AND STATION ROAD, RICKMANSWORTH) (RESTRICTED PARKING ZONE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a new pedestrian and cycle zone, and restricted parking zone in parts of Rickmansworth Town Centre as specified in the Schedules to this Notice. The Orders will come into effect on Saturday 20 April 2024.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are held on deposit and may be viewed from 19 April 2024 to 31 May 2024 during office hours at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford or online at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Three Rivers and looking at Ref: TR00323.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained in them, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
SCHEDULE 1: Pedestrian and cycle zone - that section of road listed below and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan: No motor vehicles permitted on High Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with Northway/Church Street to the eastern kerb-line of Station Road, operating between Saturday 10am and Monday 6am, except for permit holders.
SCHEDULE 2: Restricted parking zone - those sections of road
listed below and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan:
No waiting and no loading at any time, except in signed bays as
described in Schedule 3, along:
High Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with Northway/
Church Street to No. 181 High Street; and
Station Road, from the northern kerb-line of High Street to the
southern kerb-line of Northway.

Shared use disabled badge holders and permit holders only bays -outside No. 119 and Nos. 110-112 High Street, operating Monday to Friday 6am-6am on the next day, and Saturday 6am-10am for disabled badge holders only with a maximum stay of 3 hours; and Saturday 10am to Monday 6am for permit holders only with no return within 2 hours;
Disabled badge holders only bay - outside Nos. 177 to 181 High Street, operating at all times, with a maximum stay of 3 hours; Shared use limited waiting and permit holders parking bays -outside Nos. 119 to 129 and Nos. 94 to 108 High Street, operating Monday to Friday 6am-6pm, and Saturday 6am-10am with a maximum stay of 20 mins and no return within 1 hour, and Saturday 10am to Monday 6am for permit holders only; Shared use loading and taxi bay - outside Nos. 58 to 60 High Street, operating Monday to Friday, 6pm-6am for taxis only and Monday to Friday, 6am-6pm, and Saturday 6am-10am for loading only, and Saturday 10am to Monday 6am for permit holders only; Station Road:

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety and for the purpose of relieving or preventing congestion of traffic proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce new restrictions in parts of Watford as specified in the Schedules to this Notice.
