Hill Head Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Demolition Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - HILL HEAD ROAD, HILL HEAD, FAREHAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Hill Head Road between its junction with Cliff Road and its junction with Crofton Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Crofton Lane, Carisbrooke Avenue, Short Road, Old Street, Knights Bank Road, Cliff Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 22nd April 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 weeks, working between the hours 07:00 - 17:00 with the closure in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Turvey Construction to carry out demolition works.
