Tunbridge Wells, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

DORIC AVENUE, SOUTHBOROUGH, TN4 0QW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Doric Avenue, Southborough, on or after 29th April 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 18a. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Doric Avenue, Carville Avenue, Prospect Road, Springfield Road, A26 London Road, Doric Avenue and vice versa.

GORE LANE, GOUDHURST, TN17 1JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Gore Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 15th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Grove Cottage, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Gore Lane, B2079 Summerhill, B2079 North Road, Gore Lane and vice versa.

LUCKS LANE, PADDOCK WOOD, TN12 6PB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow ditching works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lucks Lane, Paddock Wood, on or after 29th April 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between High Grove House and Queens Court. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lucks Lane, B2160 Maidstone Road, Wagon Lane, Queen Street, Lucks Lane and vice versa.

PARK LANE, GOUDHURST, TN17 2SW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 14th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Badgers Oak. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Park Lane, A229 Hawkhurst Road, A229 Gills Green, Limes Grove, Slip Mill Lane, Trenley Lane, Park Lane and vice versa.

RAVENSWOOD AVENUE, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, TN2 3SE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ravenswood Avenue, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 13th May 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between 92 and 102. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ravenswood Avenue, Hilbert Road, Ravenswood Avenue and vice versa.

SILVERDALE ROAD, ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, TN1 2EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Silverdale Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 29th April 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 4. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stephens Road, Currie Road, Queens Road and vice versa.

STONE COURT LANE, PEMBURY, TN2 4TA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new gas connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stone Court Lane, Pembury, on or after 13th May 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Bryher. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for these works and access will be maintained.

THE STREET, FRITTENDEN, TN17 2DE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Frittenden, on or after 2nd May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Parsonage Farm, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Headcorn Road, Staplehurst Road, Frittenden Road, A229 Cranbrook Road, A229 Knoxbridge, A229 Rocks Hill, A229 Camden Hill, A229 The Common, Frittenden Road, Common Road, Frittenden Road, Cranbrook Road and vice versa.

WATER LANE, HAWKHURST (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Water Lane, Hawkhurst, on or after 16th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Holly Cottage, between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Water Lane, A268 Rye Road, A229 Cranbrook Road, A229 Gills Green, A229 Hawkhurst Road, Water Lane and vice versa.
