NOTICE 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea intends to make
an Order in pursuance of its powers as contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as
amended) (“the Act”) the effect of which is as set out in the Schedule(s) below. A copy of the
proposed Order, Statement of Reasons and an appropriate plan may be inspected during normal
office hours at the Civic Centre Oystermouth Road Swansea SA1 3SN. Any objections to the
proposals should be submitted in writing setting out the reasons thereto to reach the undersigned
at the above address or via E-mail at Legal.TrafficNotices@swansea.gov.uk by the 14th May 2024
quoting reference DVT-00276697/AVR.
SCHEDULES
SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing Orders are revoked insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter
contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the
schedules hereto.
SCHEDULE 2
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
SWANSEA ROAD
On its south side from a point 16 metres east of its junction with the eastern kerbline of
Brithwen Road westwards to a point 6 metres west of the western kerbline of Brithwen Road.
On its northern side from a point 12 metres east of its junction with the eastern kerbline of
Bridge Road westwards to a point 9 metres west of the western kerbline of Bridge Road.
BRITHWEN ROAD
On both sides from its junction with the southern kerbline of Swansea Road southwards for a
distance of 17 metres.
VICTORIA ROAD
On its southern side from a point in line with the eastern boundary of property number 97 Victoria
Road westwards for a distance of 35 metres.
BRIDGE ROAD
On its western side from its junction with the northern kerbline of Swansea Road northwards for
a distance of 30 metres and on its eastern side northwards for a distance of 24 metres north of
that kerbline.
STEPNEY ROAD
On its western side from a point 30 metres south of its junction with the southern kerbline of
Swansea Road southwards for a distance of 12 metres.
SCHEDULE 3
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOADING/ UNLOADING AT ANY TIME
SWANSEA ROAD
From a point 15 metres east of its junction with the eastern kerbline of Rosewarne Close
westwards to a point 21 metres west of the western kerbline of Rosewarne Close.
ROSEWARNE CLOSE
On both sides from its junction with the northern kerbline of Swansea Road
northwards for a distance of 10 metres.
