The County of Cornwall (Road From Charaton Cross To Junction North Of Woodgate, Pensilva)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Pensilva. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th April 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1030 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Charaton Cross To Junction North Of Woodgate, Pensilva between grid reference SX 30036 70070 and the junction of Golberdon Road.

The County of Cornwall (Charaton Road, Pensilva) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under 

 Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Pensilva. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th May 2024 to 14th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1700, weekdays only.

Road affected - Charaton Road, Pensilva between the junction of Golberdon Road to property know as Lower Charaton Farmhouse.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lostwithiel.

This prohibition is necessary for undergrounding of service cables works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th April 2024 to 8th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Cott Road, Lostwithiel between No 3 and No 4.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lostwithiel.

This prohibition is necessary for works for new supply and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th May 2024 to 21st May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Dark Lane, Lostwithiel outside to opposite Lamorna.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 14th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being being Footpath 17 in the Parish of Calstock between grid references SX 432 730 and SX 432 718. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because safety works are being executed on or near the public right of way due to partial bank collapse.

The Order will come into operation on 15th April 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 6th May 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 25th March 2024 for a period of up to 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Callington.

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th May 2024 to 17th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Higher South Coombe To Sunningdale, Callington between the junction of Southcoombe Road and properties known as Holmbush Cottages.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Polperro.

This prohibition is necessary for new electric supply works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th May 2024 to 17th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Raphael Road between the junction of Landaviddy Lane and grid reference SX 19023 50934, Landaviddy Lane for its entire length and Lansallos Street between property known as Pridmouth House and the junction of Landaviddy Lane, Polperro.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lostwithiel.

This prohibition is necessary for Network Rail works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th May 2024 to 12th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2300 and 0800, weekends included.

Road affected - Grenville Road, Lostwithiel over the whole length of the Level Crossing.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Fowey.

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st May 2024 to 2nd May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th May 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1700, weekdays only.
