What is happening?

City Council Notices

Local access for residents of Coundon: Via crossing points at
Scots Lane/Cedars Avenue, Three Spires Avenue/Browett Road
and Holyhead Road/Kingsbury Road
Local access for Lammas Road: Via Holyhead Road, Beaumont
Crescent and Moseley Avenue
Wall Hill Road will be maintained via Piker’s Lane.
Warwick Road will be maintained via ring road junction 5 to Friar’s
Road; and Waste Lane.
Roads will be re-opened when it is safe to do so.
Exemptions to the Order would be as set out in Schedule 4 below.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by
the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and
Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990,
SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
COVENTRY CITY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH M240 (PART) PARISH
OF ALLESLEY, FORMERLY IN THE COUNTY OF
WARWICKSHIRE, NOW IN THE CITY OF COVENTRY)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order was made on the 15th April 2024. The effect of the
Order will be to divert the whole width of that part of public footpath
running from Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) (SP
2825 8135) and proceeding in a south, south westerly direction to
point B (GR SP 2807 8101) a total distance of 380 metres or
thereabouts and to create an alternative public footpath with a width of
3 metres, running from Point F (GR SP 2777 8158) and proceeding in
a generally south easterly direction for approximately 96 metres at
which point the path turns north, north easterly for 20 metres then turns
south easterly for approximately 70 metres to Point E, (GR) (2790
8152). The path then turns south, south easterly for 170 metres before
turning south easterly for 395 metres to Point D, (GR) (2831 8118).
The path then turns south, south westerly for 260 metres to point C,
(GR) (2818 8096) whereupon the path turns in a north westerly
direction for 135 metres to Point B (GR) (SP 2807 8101). A total
distance of 1146 metres or thereabouts as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge
at the office of The Council of the City of Coventry, Council House
(Reception Area), Earl Street, Coventry, CV1 5RR during normal
office hours. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at
the price of £5.
Any representation about or objection relating to the Order must be
sent or delivered in writing addressed to Alexander Le Marinel,
Rights of Way Officer, Coventry City Council, PO Box 15, Council
House Coventry CV1 5RR not later than 23rd May 2024 and
applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.
If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made
are withdrawn, the Coventry City Council, may itself confirm the
Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the
Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any
representations or objections which have been duly made and not
withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
NORTHFIELD ROAD, COVENTRY
Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,
(as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the
Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading,
entering, proceeding along Northfield Road fronting house number 111
to number 135.
The Order would come into effect from Monday 29th April 2024 and
is required to facilitate water connection works on the highway to
take place safely.
The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until
the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected
that the works would be completed by Friday 3rd May 2024.
The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.
Exemptions would be provided for:
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police
constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;
(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory
undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle
to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by
the Order;
(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the
said works
(d) local vehicular access to Northfield Road
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by
the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and
Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

COVENTRY) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order was made on the 15th April 2024. The effect of the
Order will be to divert the whole width of that part of public footpath
running from Point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (“GR”) (SP
27800 81738) and proceeding in a south, south westerly direction
to point B (GR SP 27759 81635) a total distance of 102 metres or
thereabouts and to create an alternative public footpath with a
width of 2 metres, running from Point A (GR SP 27800 81738) and
proceeding in a generally south easterly direction to Brick Hill Lane,
Point C (GR SP 27933 81652) a total distance of 138 metres or
thereabouts as shown on the order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge
at the office of The Council of the City of Coventry, Council House
(Reception Area), Earl Street, Coventry, CV1 5RR, during normal
office hours. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at
the price of £5.

PROPOSED TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
CITY OF COVENTRY (EATON ROAD) (ONE WAY &
PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that, Coventry City Council (“the Council”),
pursuant to its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(as amended) propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order
(“the Order”).
The Order proposes to:-
i) prohibit the left turn from Ringway St Patrick’s clockwise off slip
on to Eaton Road; and
ii) make Eaton Road one way, from its junction with Ringway St
Patrick’s clockwise off slip to a point 36 metres south of said
junction Vehicles will only be permitted to travel in a northerly
direction (towards the ring road).
The proposed measures will facilitate the free flow of traffic in the area.
A copy of this Notice, the draft Order, plan and Statement of
Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the
Council House (reception area) Earl Street, Coventry and on the
Council’s website at: ‘www.coventry.gov.uk/tro’. Any person
requiring further information in connection with the proposed Order
