What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
B4118 MARSH LANE & C144 MINWORTH ROAD, WATER ORTON
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Marsh Lane closed between its junction with
the B4118 Birmingham Road/B4117 New Road and Manor House Lane, Minworth Road closed between
Mercer Avenue and March Lane.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 23 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 May 2024.
Access & Diversions: For Minworth Road – B4118 March Lane. Minworth Road, Water Orton Lane,
Minworth Parkway, A4097 Kingsbury Road, Dunton Island, A446 Lichfield Road, Marsh Lane and
vice versa. For Minworth Road – B4118 Birmingham Road, Minworth Road, Water Orton Lane, Minworth
Parkway, A4097 Kingsbury Road, Dunton Island, A446 Lichfield Road, B4117 (Watton Lane, New Road)
and vice versa.
NB: Minworth Road has a weight restricted bridge of 7.5t and width of 6ft 6in only therefore access/
egress will only be maintained for light vehicles at this point and there is no alternative route for vehicles
wider than 6ft 6in.

DORDON HALL LANE, DORDON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to replace pole.
Order Commences: 23 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 April 2024.
Access & Diversion: Dordon Hall Lane, Spon Lane, A5 from End of Dualling at Dordon to Start of Dualling
South East of Grendon Including Roundabouts, Watling Street, Long Street, Church Road, Dunns Lane
and vice versa.
Contractor: RNR TM Ltd, Tel: 07939 943 309.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
C81 SPON LANE & D145 SPON LANE, GRENDON
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: C81 Spon Lane closed between the A5 Watling
Street Roundabout and B5000 Grendon Road and D145 Spon Lane closed between the C81 Spon Lane
and Hastings Road.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs weekdays only.
Order Commences: 9 May 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 31 May 2024.
Access & Diversion: B5000 Grendon Road, B4116 (Atherstone Road, Old Holly Lane, Holly Lane),
A5 Watling Street and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and
residents including adjoining roads, however delays may be experienced whilst works are in progress.

FAIRFIELDS HILL, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside property number 12 to a point outside
number 2 (Baxters Court).
Reason for Order: To enable works for laying of a new main.
Order Commences: 29 April 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 2 May 2024.
Access & Diversion: Fairfields Hill, Market Street, Tamworth Road, Hermitage Lane, Cockspur Street,
Birchmoor Road and vice versa.
Contractor: For Cadent Gas, Headway TM Ltd, Tel: 01564 820 118.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated
adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be
maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PART OF FOOTPATH M415 OVER WHITACRE)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2016
The above Order, Made on 20 July 2016 and Confirmed on 16 April 2024 under Section 119 of
the Highways Act 1980, will DIVERT M415 commencing on Tamworth Road at Point A (GR 42426
29190) running generally south south west for approx. 190m to Point B (GR 42418 29173) TO A LINE
commencing at Point B, running generally east north east for approx. 55m to Point C (GR 42422 29176)
then generally north north east for approximately 162m, passing through Points D-E-F-G to join the
Tamworth Road at Point H (GR 42429 29189) as shown on the Order Plan. The new path will have
a width of 3 metres.
A copy of the Confirmed Order and the Order Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge
at the offices of Warwickshire County Council, Shire Hall, Market Square, Warwick CV34 4SA from
8am-5.30pm on weekdays, (5pm Fridays) and 9am-4pm Saturdays. A copy of the Order and Order Plan
may be bought there at the price of £5.66. Copies may also be inspected at the offices of the North
Warwickshire Borough Council, The Council House, South Street, Atherstone, CV9 1DE between
08.30am and 5.15pm and online at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/pathorders.
The Order as confirmed comes into force on 23 April 2024 but if a person aggrieved by the order wants
to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that any requirement of the
Act, as amended, or if any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the
order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule
6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 16 April 2024, make an application to the High Court.
THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PART OF FOOTPATH M463 WISHAW) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order made on 16 April 2024 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will DIVERT that
section of Public Footpath M463 from Point A (GR SP 1720 9528) to point B (GR SP 1691 9568) a total
distance of approx 560 m as shown on the Order Plan. TO A LINE from Point C (GR SP 1691 9517)
running generally northeast to Point D (GR SP 1692 9538) before continuing generally north to point E
(GR SP 1694 9553) and rejoining the footpath at point B (GR SP 1691 9568) a total distance of approx
540 m as shown on the Order Plan. The new route shall have a width of 4 m.
A copy of the Order and the Order Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices
of Warwickshire County Council, Shire Hall, Market Square, Warwick CV34 4SA from 8am-5.30pm on
weekdays, (5pm Fridays) and 9am-4pm Saturdays. A copy of the Order and Order Plan may be bought
there at the price of £5.77. Copies may also be inspected at the offices of the North Warwickshire Borough
Council, The Council House, South Street, Atherstone, CV9 1BD between 8.50am and 5.15pm weekdays
and online at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/pathorders.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing (or email) to the Strategic Director
for Communities, P O Box 43, Shire Hall, Warwick CV34 4SX, OR (paths@warwickshire.gov.uk) not later than
24 May 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Representations or objections may become
publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making representations
or objections would also be made publicly available.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Warwickshire
County Council may confirm the Order as unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State
for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which
have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
