STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(TAMWORTH) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) ORDER NO 1
(AMENDMENT) NO. 44/2024

Staffordshire County Council on 18/4/24 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to Forties and Brent in Tamworth. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Pl, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Tamworth Library, 56A Albert Road, Tamworth, B79 7JN or at: www.staffordshire.gov.uk/ trafficregulationorders. 

Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 19/4/24.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Drayton Ln, Drayton Bassett. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 16/4/24 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Drayton Ln, Drayton Bassett. The Order will come into operation on 23/4/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, TEMPORARY ONE WAY AND TEMPORARY 10 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION)

Various Rds in Staffordshire – Surface Dressing Preparation Works. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those roads as listed in the schedule below. A temporary 10MPH Speed Limit and One Way Order (where appropriate) will also be in force on each road. The Order will come into operation on 01/05/2024 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/04/2025. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the preventative surface dressing preparation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the roads have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
