Walkden Road - Road Closure for Waiting
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford proposes to make
following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984: the CITY OF SALFORD (WALKDEN ROAD,
WALKDEN) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce No
Waiting at Any Time on:
Walkden Road, East side from the southern boundary line
of No 350 Walkden Road, in a south easterly direction for a
distance of 89m.
A copy of the proposed Order, a plan and statement of the
Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be
examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton,
M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Details can be
viewed online at http://www.salford.gov.uk/parking-roadsand-
travel/roads/traffic-orders/. Alternatively, copies of the
documentation may be requested via the email phlegal@
manchester.gov.uk or the postal addresses below. If you
wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the
grounds of your objection in writing to Fiona Ledden, City
