The County of Cornwall (Road From Bosence Road To Pauls Green, Bosence Road, Tregembo Hill, Townshend)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Townshend. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th April 2024 for one day.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Road From Bosence Road To Pauls Green, Bosence Road, Tregembo Hill, Townshend from junction on Bunkers Hill to junction on Gurlyn Hill.

The County of Cornwall (Road From New Road To Bosvargus Hill, Road From Bosvargus Hill To Access Track To Lower Hailglower Farm, St Just) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Just. This prohibition is necessary for installation of chambers for fibre infrastructure and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th May 2024 to 12th June 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Roads affected - Road From New Road To Bosvargus Hill, Road From Bosvargus Hill To Access Track To Lower Hailglower Farm, St Just from outside No 3 Tregeseal Terrace to outside Blackberry Stamps.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penzance. This prohibition is necessary for works for installation of a PRV and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th May 2024 to 22nd May 2024. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Bread Street, Penzance from junction on Causewayhead to junction on High Street.

This prohibition is necessary for National Grid service alteration works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th May 2024 to 16th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Carncrows Street, St Ives from junction on Burrow Road and No 19.

This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th April 2024 to 3rd May 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Cockwells Lane, Cockwells between properties known as Cargease Cottage and Brook Dene.

This prohibition is necessary for railway maintenance works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30 April 2024 to 1 May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Gwinear Road, Connor Downs between grid references SW61270 38347 and SW61184 38456.

This prohibition is necessary for electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th April 2024 to 7th May 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Street An Pol, St Ives for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 15th April 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Carbis Bay. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 29th April 2024 to 1st May 2024. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Trencrom Lane, Laity Lane, Carbis Bay from the junction at Tryhornek to the junction at Laity Lane and from the junction at Polmennor Drive to the junction at Trencrom Lane.
