Staffordshire - Various temporary Road works and closures

(A513 CROXALL ROAD, NEAR ALREWAS) (PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES OVER 7.5 TONNES GROSS WEIGHT, PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES OVER 2.3 METRES (7FT, 6 INCHES) IN WIDTH AND 20MPH SPEED RESTRICTION (PERMANENT) ORDER 2024

Staffordshire County Council on 16/4/24 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to replicate and continue indefinitely the provisions of the Staffordshire County Council (A513 Croxall Rd, near Alrewas) (prohibition of vehicles over 7.5 tonnes gross weight and over 2.3 metres (7ft, 6 inches) in width and 20mph speed restriction experimental order 2022. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Pl, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield and Tamworth Library, Corporation St, Tamworth or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the groundsthat such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 21/4/24.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, TEMPORARY ONE WAY AND TEMPORARY 10 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION

Various Roads in Staffordshire – Surface Dressing Preparation Works. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not lessthan seven daysfrom the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those roads as listed in the schedule below. A temporary 10MPH Speed Limit and One Way Order (where appropriate) will also be in force on each road. The Order will come into operation on 1/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/04/2025. The Order will remain in force foraperiod of 18 months or until the preventative surface dressing preparation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the roads have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
