ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C692 MOUNT ROAD, ROUGHAM

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the C692 Mount Road, Rougham from the junction with Sow Lane for 400 metres northbound to facilitate a new gas connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. ' The diversion route will be Sow Lane, Rougham Tower Avenue, Skyliner Way, Orttewell Way, Mount Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/04/2024 -30/04/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1067 BRAMFORD ROAD AND RIVER HILL,

BRAMFORD AND IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

• the B1067 Bramford Road, Bramford from Paper Mill Lane to River Hill

• the B1067 River Hill, Bramford, and

• the B1067 Bramford Road, Ipswich from River Hill to Adair Road.

This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1067, the A1214, the A1156, the A14, the B1113, the B1067 and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a temporary suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the following roads:

• the A1156 Norwich Road, Ipswich from Chevallier Street to Bury Road

• the A1156 Bury Road, Ipswich from Norwich Road to the Bury Road roundabout

• the B1067 Bramford Road, Bramford from Paper Mill Lane to River Hill

• the B1067 River Hill, Bramford, and

• the B1067 Bramford Road, Ipswich from River Hill, Bramford to Adair Road.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 19/04/2024 - 5am on 20/04/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1092 MELFORD ROAD AND LOWER ROAD,

CAVENDISH AND GLEMSFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the A1092 Melford Road, Cavendish from 400 metres east of The Columbines to Lower Road and the A1092 Lower Road, Glemsford from Melford Road for 350 metres eastbound to facilitate the replacement of electrical poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1017, the A1124, the A131, the A134, the A1092 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 28/04/2024 from 9.30am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2034 HOGARTH ROAD AND HAYMAN ROAD, IPSWICH Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads in the following phases to facilitate major gas replacement works.

1. The U2034 Hogarth Road, Ipswich from Raeburn Road to Hayman Road

2. The U2034 Hogarth Road, Ipswich from Landseer Road to Hayman Road

3. The U2034 Hayman Road, Ipswich.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

1. Bonnington Road, Landseer Road, Raeburn Road and vice versa

2. Landseer Road, Raeburn Road and vice versa

3. Hogarth Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/04/2024 -10/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C550 MILLWAY LANE, PALGRAVE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C550 Millway Lane, Palgrave from 1 metre west of the junction with Denmark Hill for 25 metres westbound to facilitate the installation of a smart water meter. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Road, the A143, Lion Road, Priory Road, The Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/04/2024 - 01/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1079 HELMINGHAM ROAD, OTLEY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1079 Helmingham Road, Otley from Wood Farm Barn for 30 metres southbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1078 Swilland Road, the B1078 Road from Gibraltar Road to Swilland Road, the B1078 Ashbocking Road, the B1077 The Green, the B1077 Helmingham Road, the B1077 Ashbocking Road, the B1077 Ipswich Road, the B1077 Road from the A1120 to the 3323, the B1079 Otley Road, the B1079 Helmingham Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/04/2024 -01/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1101 MILDENHALL DROVE. SHIPPEA HILL ROAD AND BURNT FEN TURNPIKE, KENNY HILL AND BURNT FEN

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

• A1101 Mildenhall Drove, Kenny Hill from Kenny Hill Drove to Shippea Hill Road

• A1101 Shippea Hill Road, Kenny Hill

• A1101 Burnt Fen Turnpike, Burnt Fen from Shippea Hill to Farthing Drove.

This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A1101, the B1102, the B1104, the B1382, the A1101 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/04/2024 - 04/05/2024 from 8.30pm - 5am with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1078 TUNSTALL ROAD AND ASHE ROAD,

CAMPSEA ASHE AND TUNSTALL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

1. the B1078 Tunstall Road, Campsea Ashe from Mariesford Road to Ashe Road.

2. the B1078 Ashe Road, Tunstall from Tunstall Road to Hockett Crescent.

This is to facilitate carriageway patching prior to surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1078, the B1069, the A1152, the A12, the B1078 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/04/2024 -03/05/2024 from 8am until 6pm with a further closure scheduled for surface dressing. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5522 DOVE LANE, EYE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5522 Dove Lane, Eye from Church Street for 15 metres northbound to facilitate safety during scaffold erection and removal. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the Wellington Road, the B1077, Church Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/04/2024 - 19/07/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C725 NAUGHTON ROAD, WHATFIELD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C725 Naughton Road, Whatfield from 420 metres north of the junction with Elmsett Road for 45 metres northbound to facilitate the installation of a water pipe. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the Whatfield Road, Nedging with Naughton. New Road, Naughton Road, the B1078, the A1141, the A1071, the road from the A1071 to the 8417, Cosford Road, Whatfield Road, Aldham, Hadleigh Road, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/04/2024 -14/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3630 BARTON ROAD, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3630 Barton Road, Woodbridge from the junction with Edwin Avenue for 30 metres south westbound to facilitate a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Haugh Lane, Woodbridge, the A12 Hasketon, Hasketon, Grove Road, Woodbridge, Woods Lane, Melton, Bredfield Road, Melton and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/04/2024 - 03/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C533 Low Road, Kenton from 638 metres southeast of Webbs Road for 20 metres south eastbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Eye Road, Debenham Road, Kenton Road, Cross Green, the B1077, Thorpe Lane, the A1120, The Street, Low Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/04/2024 - 02/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1078 Charsfield Road, Clopton from Clopton Grange for 30 metres eastbound to facilitate air valve works in the carriageway. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be the B1079 Grundisburgh Road, the B1079 Woodbridge Road, the B1079 Grundisburgh Road, the A12 Grove Road, theA12 Hasketon, the A12 Melton, the A12 Bredfield, the A12 Ufford, the A12 Pettistree, the B1078 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/04/2024 - 02/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (MAP-BASED) ORDER 2018

(PARISH OF LOWESTOFT) (NOTLEY ROAD) (6U8068) (REVOCATION)

(VARIATION NO. 34) ORDER 202-

Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1,2 and 4 ana Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which would substitute revision 3 of Map Tile AR194 into the above-named 2018 order in place of revision 2. The effect of the order will be to:

• remove the 'School Keep Clear' entrance marking on the south side of Notley Road (6U8068) from a point adjacent to the property boundary between nos. 16 and 18 Notley Road, in an easterly direction for 87 metres, and

• revoke the existing waiting restrictions which provide 'No Stopping Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm on the south side of Notley Road (6U8068) from a point adjacent to the property boundary between nos. 16 and 18 Notley Road, in an easterly direction for 87 metres.

A copy of the draft order and plans showing the road affected, together with a copy of the Council's reasons for this proposal, may be seen with advance notice at the address below 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday; also at Lowestoft Library, Clapham Road South, Lowestoft NR32 1DR; 9am - 6pm Monday; 8.30am - 6pm Tuesday - Friday; 9am - 5pm Saturday and 10am - 4pm Sunday.
