NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(COLLEGE STREET, WOLLASTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of College Street, Wollaston as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of College Street, Wollaston from outside number 21 to number 27.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during stop tap replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Eastfield Road and Queens Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(HIGH STREET, CRANFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Cranford as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Cranford from Church Lane to Battle Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Cranford Road, Hanwood Park Avenue, A14 and Twywell Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(HARBOROUGH ROAD, DINGLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Harborough Road, Dingley as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Harborough Road, Dingley from Dingley Lane to outside Warren Cottage (private road).

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 5th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to two days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use A6, Rothwell and Desborough Bypass, A14, A43, Rockingham Road, Uppingham Road and Harborough Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(WEST STREET, WELLINGBOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of West Street, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of West Street, Wellingborough for its entire length.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during Virgin Media cabling works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: no alternative route as it’s a one way street, access to be maintained.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(PIPE LANE, WARKTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Pipe Lane, Warkton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Pipe Lane, Warkton from the junction with Church Street to outside number 1.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during tree works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use A433, Deeble Road and Warkton Lane.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(JEAN ROAD, KETTERING) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Jean Road, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Jean Road, Kettering from opposite Ruth Gardens.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th April 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Eva Road, Margaret Road and Elizabeth Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(STRODE ROAD, WELLINGBOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Strode Road, Wellingborough as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Strode Road, Wellingborough from outside numbers 8-10.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during communication pipe repair.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 29th April 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Winstanley Road, Ranelagh Road and Newcomen Road.
