Temporary Traffic Management Order of Various Roads,

St Leonards and St Ives

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 29th April 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed between 9 May 2024 - 23 May 2024.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Gainsborough Road, Ashley Heath and Braeside Road, St Leonards And St Ives as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Gainsborough Road, Ashley Heath and Braeside Road, St Leonards And St Ives.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity, and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant.

[i] To impose a temporary road closure on: Edmondsham to OakTrees Farm, Edmondsham; Church Hill, Woodlands; Verwood Road, Woodlands and Jessica Avenue, Verwood as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Edmondsham to OakTrees Farm, Edmondsham; Church Hill, Woodlands; Verwood Road, Woodlands and Jessica Avenue, Verwood.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[i] To impose a temporary road closure on: Unnamed Street, Gussage All Saints; Bowerswain Hollow, Gussage All Saints; Unnamed Lane, Gussage All Saints; Unnamed Lane, Wimborne St Giles; Baileys Hill, Wimborne St Giles; Creech Hill, Wimborne St Giles and West View, Wimborne St Giles as indicated by signs on site.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[i] To impose a temporary speed restriction of 10mph to facilitate the use of a convoy working vehicle along Christchurch Road, West Parley and Christchurch Road, Ferndown as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a temporary road closure on: Church Lane, West Parley; New Road Service Road, West Parley; Dudsbury Gardens, West Parley and Longfield Drive, West Parley as indicated by signs on site.

[iii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along: Christchurch Road, West Parley; Christchurch Road, Ferndown; Church Lane, West Parley; New Road Service Road, West Parley; Dudsbury Gardens, West Parley and Longfield Drive, West Parley.

It will come into operation on 29 April 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed between 6 June 2024 - 19 June 2024.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Vermin Lane, Winterborne Zelston as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Vermin Lane, Winterborne Zelston.
