What is happening?

(Shoreham: Steyning Road (A283))
(Temporary Night-Time Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, West Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Steyning Road (A283) in Shoreham, from its junction with the A27 interchange, northwards for 350m.
The road closure is needed to maintain safety while maintenance to the A27 overpass is carried out.
The Order will operate overnight from 8pm to 6am and will come into effect on 29 April 2024. The works are expected to take until 31 May 2024 but once made the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Worthing: Farncombe Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, West Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Farncombe Road in Worthing from its junction with Lyndhurst Road, southwards for 70m. The road closure is needed to maintain safety while a crane is used during the construction of an adjacent property development.
The Order will operate from 8am to 4.30pm and will come into effect on 6 May 2024. The works are expected to be completed on 13 May 2024 but once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Ferring: Greystoke Road and Adjoining Roads Amendment) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council proposes to make a permanent Traffic regulation Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time (introduce double yellow lines) on the western side of Greystoke Road in Ferring at the entrance to The Glebelands Community Centre and the entrance to Ferring Baptist Church. It is also proposed to prohibit waiting at any time on the eastern side of Greystoke Road/Ferringham Lane at its junction with Church Lane.

NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council proposes to make a permanent Traffic regulation Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time (introduce double yellow lines) on St Valerie Road in Worthing at its junctions with Bath Road, Hythe Road and Boundary Road. The Order would also prohibit waiting at any time at the junction of Downview Road with Boundary Road.
