What is happening?
MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTIONS 123(1), (2A) LAND AT THE CITYLINK ROUTE, ETIHAD CAMPUS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Manchester City Council intends to dispose of three parcels of land, which have an area of approximately 12.8 sqm, 24.5sqm and 7.75 sqm respectively located along the CityLink, a walking route from the Holt Town tram stop to the Etihad Campus, which forms part of open space to Eastlands Arena Ltd by way of a short lease in order to facilitate the delivery of artwork and light installations along the CityLink walking route.
The installations will bring improvements to the route by animating and visually improving the route.
The areas of land described above are more particularly shown edged orange, red and green on the deposited plan, which may be inspected at the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA, between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested via email at phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the postal address below.
Objections to the intended disposals must be made in writing and addressed to me via the above email address or, alternatively, the postal address below so as to be received no later than 9 May 2024. Please quote reference L/FYM/EST001/91667.
