Lowes Lane - Temporary Road Closure For Vegetation Removal
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE LOWES LANE, SWARKESTONE
WHEN: 22 April to 23 April 2024 (23:55 to 06:00)
WHERE: Lowes Lane, (from a point approx.195m north of its Jct. with A5132 Barrow Lane, to a point approx. 160m north) Swarkestone.
REASON: To facilitate vegetation removal around the Network Rail structure.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lowes Lane, A5132: Barrow Lane; Swarkestone Road, Sinfin Lane, Moor Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
