Hysbysir Drwy Hyn Bod Cyngor Sir Fynwy, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 21ain Ebrill 2024 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd i’r gwaith cael ei gwblhau rhwng 21ain Ebrill 2024 a’r 23ain Ebrill 2024, gan weithredu rhwng 08:00 a 18:00.
2. Roedd angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn caniatáu Dŵr Cymru i wneud gwaith mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Cedwir mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.
3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o’r Rhodfa, Cil-y-coed, Sir Fynwy, ~55m o’r gyffordd â’r B4245 Heol Cas- newydd am ~20m.
4. Nid oedd yna lwybr dargyfeirio. Byddwn yn cynnal mynediad.
5. Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Rhodfa, Cil-y-coed, Sir Fynwy, 2024.
6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice 2024

Notice Is Hereby Given That Monmouthshire County Council of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

1. The Order came into operation on the 21st April 2024 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 21st April 2024 and 23rd April 2024, operating between 08:00-18:00.
2. The order was necessary for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of The Avenue, Caldicot, Monmouthshire, ~55m from its junction with B4245 Newport Road for ~20m.
4. There was no signed diversion route. Access will be main- tained.
5. This order may be cited as the The Avenue, Caldicot, Mon- mouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2024
6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition im- posed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
